## MEETING CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER ##Mt Barker Tuesday December 7th

The Mt Barker Turf Club opene their delayed season this Tuesday with an eight event card. The first staying test of the season will see race hard Chevic travel down to take on On The Double who has won two of three starts at Mt Barker, and Shovely who will be having his first start at the distance. Another highlight will be the return of Jolanta Star who was in devastating form last season when in the care of trainer Max Hockey

Race One: Mcintyre lighly raced and pay to overlook first up run. Goes quick early. Tsovies Joy had only one start and fair effort recent Albany trial. Night Rocks fair efforts at only two starts drops in class here.Lily La BelL moderate effort at only start Kalgoorlie. This easier. Charlotte Rose failed at debut but can improve. Rose Of Troy not disgraced at debut and looks suited here.


Race Two: Cheval Magic form average but last run not that bad in stronger company. One Talk yet to be placed but placed recent Lark Hill trial. De Troy Roy battling effort when third at Albany meets similar field here. Unlikley Suspect unplaced in two runs but this looks easier. Kirov Park good run first up then disappointing next start. Can do better from draw. Jolanta Sky solid efforts at two runs back and should be at peak. Powerhouse Miss fair effort debut Bunbury, and likely improver but drawn wide.


Race Three: Stratazoza recent form moderate but much stronger company. Claims 3kg here. Jolanta Sky in fantastic form last time in. Won recent trial and hard to beat. Week Bix yet to fire in two runs back. Capable of better. He's Smokin had no luck first up at Esperance when raced wide. Pwakkers Back won two then narrowly beaten Albany last start. Up in class but down 3.5kg.


Race Four: Comfortably failed first up Bunbury but capable of better. Bungarra good winner racing second up. Drawn wide but has claims. Chuck The Bird very disappointing last start need to better. Winehorse followed placing with easy Maiden win. Up 100m but strong claims. Sukey Tawdrey disappointing at last two starts, but meets milder field here. Tiga Romano faded badly last start and not fired at two runs back. Our Ivy changed stables since moderate run Bunbury.


Race Five: Call Me Ned solid effort when racing first up Albany and strong prospects here. Sugar Stroller placed last two at Pinjarra suggest hard to beat here. Soldiers Salute good efforts at two race starts, meets good field here but respect. Head to Hell better effort at third race start. North Of Pemby yet to be placed at six starts, need to be at best here.Stormy Ale had plenty of chances of late placed at last three and a win is close. Belles Fury showed a bit last time in but may need more ground.


Race Six: Chevic race hard and placed 1800m Geraldton last start. Suited here. On The Double had two runs back and not far away last start. Won here last season. Shovely won Maiden then fair effort 1400m Albany. First try at trip. Sir Don well back at two runs back won 1600m Albany last season. Carrellen Steel finished at rear second up .Hard to follow. Portica shade disappointing second up. Steps up 450m here. Key Dynasty fair effort Albany 1400m last outing. Placed this trip.


Race Seven: Ibrahimovic been racing in stronger company and suited here. Storm On By first up here after 12 months. Experienced camapigner. All Spots good effort first up and sure to improve. In The Move good winner last start and looks well placed here. Tick Tock goes quick but disappointing last two starts. Briello not far away last start but improvement required. Masters Seal old timer who is capable. Soviet Prince led and faded last start over 12oom. This distance better.


Race Eight:  All The Gold two good runs back including Esperance win. Midnight Touch fair effort first up and likely to improve. Galinba Blast better effort second up and capable but drawn wide. Left For Dead resuming placed last outing 1600m. Luv Playing To Win close up Pinjarra 1200m and find this easier. The Keillor Kid yet to hit best form in three runs back but suited here. Bella Sempre just beaten at Albany last start and solid prospects. Trimconnection fair efforts at two runs back and has good record this track.
