SIX Events, First Race 1.17pm,
Race 1: Open Maiden affair, Cherpara placed in city as a two year old, Carminemadonna twice finished 4th at Provincials from limited starts. Bletchly Rave was a recent 600m trial winner at Albany. Meclang and It'll Be Sweet both trialled at Albany last Sunday.
Race 2: Watson's Bay will give 3.5kg to Timely Reign, both are winners at the track and look the only main chances. Don't Tell Toby trialled well at Albany, Royalistic has won at the trip.
Race 3: Tiga Romano has raced fairly at the Provincials and has race fitness and experience on her side. My Equine Friend was placed as a two year old in the city. City Of Subiaco and Fuzzy Logic were placed in recent Lark Hill trials. Pulashaky raced well over longer ground last season. From The Fire won a 1000m trial at Albany last Sunday when ridden out.
Race 4: Late Change has performed well at Mid Week City meetings and won at Belmont in June, and has good first up form. Evil Force won two races at Albany before a spell and resumes here. Sir Onan won first up here last season but yet to race at this distance. Former Eastern Stater Punk'd trialled well at Albany. Magic Of Silver has been racing well on dirt tracks.
Race 5: Capel Time has been racing fairly at Mid week City meetings and has won at the track. Tangram resumes here and raced well last season. Carrellen Steel races best when fresh and ran a nice trial at Albany. Masters Seal looks to be returning to his best form of two years previous. Classy Warrior has been in great form on dirt tracks. Western Navajo goes fast early but is drawn wide.
Race 6: Solo Dante won here last season and last two runs have been encouraging. Stormyglow won at Albany before going for a spell, resumes here. Russian To Win drops back in class on fair efforts at Mid Week City meetings. Ridgewood Manna should take advantage of good gate with his early speed.
