Collie Races Saturday October 24th, 2009

Collie will hold their annual race meeting this Saturday October 24th.  A six event card is set down with the feature races on the day will be the $9,900 Collie Crane Hire Collie Cup to be run over 2000m for 64-80 class horses and the $9,900 United Crane Hire Plate over 1400m for 55-68 class. Racing commences at 1.15pm, with good fields in all races with WA TAB coverage.     Collie have come up with a good meeting. Interange going around in the Cup at start No 101 will add interest. Some equally interesting jockeys riding, Takahide Ikenushi, Russell Hanson, the bearded one Rob Quartermaine fresh from winning the Mt Magnet Cup, Kelly Davidson & apprentice Kevin Bohorun, making a name for himself.
