Jockey David Chipman had his lead at the top of the table slightly reduced with Peter Hall riding a treble last meeting from his only three rides which has boosted his winning strike rate to a win every two rides taken.
Trainer Steve Wolfe has got off to a flyer early in the season with a double at each of the three full meetings and leads clearly on points from Gerry Hughes and Allen McNamara (Snr) who has 3 winners from 4 runners.
